And school started again... for the final time.

Guten Tag everyone,

it’s been almost a month since I last updated my blog isn’t it? Well, long story short, school started (last Trimester before I graduate!), internship started, and on top of that I somewhat restarted my streaming ‘hobby-career’. Honestly, it’s hectic, but I absolutely love it.

Let’s start with school. I’m only doing two actual courses this time: Data Analytics and Mobile App Development. I don’t really have much to say about Data Analytics, not even really interested in it but I didn’t have other options. (I’m interested in ML though, just not this kind of ML). Technically have been semi skipping all the classes because it’s so early in the morning and I’d rather poke around with the libraries myself.

Mobile App Dev on the other hand, is my baby. I’ve been attending the lecture in-person even though I didn’t need to. Been to every lab and really enjoying it. A little bit awkward on my first week though as accidentally mistook my lab tutor for his twin brother (Not really my fault they look 99% identical hey!). The only complaint I have against this course is that it’s Swift… aka 'oh hi I don’t care what you use but you need xcode’. I totally would’ve enjoyed this course much more if it was React of if I actually had a mac at home.

Now work: office is nice, colleagues are nice, food there is nice (although I gotta say, IT’S SO FREAKING EXPENSIVE COMPARED TO BRISBANE). Getting to finally work in an ‘organisation’ is much more fun than working alone for me. Best part? I don’t need to figure out what to do on my own. It’s like having all the goals laid in front of you and you just figure out how to get there. Commute is painful but the scenery and atmosphere are definitely worth it. I’ve been alternating between going into the office and working from home because it’s much easier to work on my dual-monitor desktop rather than my 15.6 inches laptop.

Last but not least: GAMER HUSKY IS BACK Y’ALL. Decided to finally get back to gaming a little bit ‘cause reasons. First I just wanted to stream DOS2 to the friend who bought it, but eventually I figured why not stream on Twitch so other friends can enjoy it too. I might have taken that a little too far actually. Every time I streamed I ended up playing for 8 hours straight and skipping all the classes. O U C H. Hopefully I’ll find that soft spot of balance between school and gaming again.

Well, a bit of a long post this time, thanks for reading if you were somehow bored enough to read the whole thing!

ps. I ordered a new 75 cm husky plush, hopefully he’ll arrive soon.

Ciao,
